Two late 19th century Cases, one containing a scent bottle, each is covered with shagreen and mounted in unmarked silver in the 18th century manner. European circa 1890.
Description
Condition:
Good. The interior lining of one case is later. One additional strip of shagreen on the back of one case – perhaps in the making.
Dimensions:
The larger case is – 12.50 cm. long; 4.20 cm. wide; 3.70 cm. deep; the smaller case is 10.50 cm. long; 5.50 cm. wide; 2.70 cm. deep. The combined weight of the two cases is 232.50 gms.
