A Manuscript Book entitled ‘Adjutant General’s Orderly Book‘, covering the months April to November 1807, containing orders and Court Martial sentences for British Troops stationed in Malta. The volume contains considerable detail of the brutal sentences upon offenders, both Maltese natives and British troops, with details of mutinies as well as minor offences, together with the day to day orders for troops on the island.

Condition:
The pages largely in good condition with clear manuscript. The first page with some cuts and a small piece missing. Wear to the binding and the clasp loosely attached. Some cuts to the exterior of the covers.
