An unusually small Victorian silver collapsible Beaker by Thornhill.
A small Victorian silver collapsible Beaker for use at picnics or whilst travelling, in its original case, the beaker London 1875, by Thomas Johnson, for the retailer Thornhill of 144, New Bond Street. The beaker engine-turned on the exterior with a a circular panel engraved with the owner’s initials ‘ELA’, and the interior of the cup gilt.

Condition:
Very good. This is one of very few collapsible beakers that don’t ‘dribble’ liquid from the side.
