An unusual George III silver Counter Box.
A George III bright-cut silver Counter box, containing four enamelled counters, London 1798, Thomas Brough. The counters are unmarked but three are engraved with script initials.
Although showing signs of wear, this box is an unusual survival. Numbers of Birmingham-made circular boxes with counters survive but very few London examples.
