A circular wooden Snuffbox, the pull-off lid inset with copper inscribed: ‘Made from the Wreck of the Betsy Cains 1688 which brought King William to England.‘ and in the centre: ‘A. Reed 1827 Mayor.’

Good with an old crack and flake to the surface of the wood lid.
