An interesting Asprey and Company silver 1930’s Cigarette Box.

An Asprey and company engine-turned silver mounted Cigarette Box, the lid inset with bird feathers – labelled Snipe, Golden Plover, Rock Pigeon, Grouse and Partridge, with dates in August and September 1936 – set under glass, London 1936. The front of the box is applied with gold initials: ‘ARDP.’ The interior is lined with red-cedarwood and the loaded base covered with leather.

Good. Slight staining under the glass lid panel. The lid shuts at a very slight angle.
