An exceptional Paul Storr Cream Ladle.
Paul Storr.
A George III silver-gilt Cream Ladle, London 1815.
The adventurous design of this ladle, its scrolling bowl with imbricated panel and the terminal formed from overlapping and tapering circular twists, is reminiscent of the Storr-marked silver made for William Beckford.
