A copy of a Georgian silver Beer Jug, London 1913, marked by Herbert Lambert [overstamping another maker] for Lambert and Company.
After the death of George Lambert in 1901, the Coventry street business was run by Herbert Charles Lambert and Ernest Dechemont Lambert, his nephews. Ernest died in 1912. Herbert died in 1924, after selling the business to Sydney Bellamy Harman in 1916.
