An early 18th century combined Scent Bottle and box, the unmarked silver-gilt body with screw top, chased with ‘Régence’ decoration centred upon a female mask flanked by bird’s of paradise on one side and grotesque masks on the other. The plain flanged circular foot unscrews to reveal a small compartment. Circa 1725 probably German.
