A Toy William and Mary silver Goblet, struck with Britannia maker’s mark and lion’s head erased for George Manjoy, London circa 1700.
This goblet is probably the toy illustrated in Victor Houart, ‘Miniature Silver Toys’, image 193, the photograph provided by Christie’s, auctioneers, London.
Good overall but with two old splits to the edge of the lobed base. Minor bruising to the cup.
