A Victorian silver Sauce Warming Pan and Cover.
A Victorian silver oval Sauce warming pan and cover, with engraved crest and detachable ebony handle, W. & j. Barnard, London 1885. Engraved with the arms and crest of the Godden family of Leybourne Castle, Kent. The handle unscrews and a silver cap can be screwed into the aperture. The body is double skinned to allow warm water to be inserted.
