An early Victorian stoneware pottery Ale Jug set with a hinged silver mount and lid with Ram’s head thumbpiece, London 1838, by John Wilmin Figg. The top of the lid is engraved with a crest of a double-headed eagle, the bulbous body in cream and dark brown is decorated with bucolic figures above a hunting frieze.
