A Victorian silver Fork and Knife combined for an Invalid.
A Victorian single-struck bead edge pattern silver Fork with a detachable knife blade, London 1857, by George Adams. Combination forks and knives like this were made for the use of invalids: usually with a fixed steel blade. The hallmarked silver blade is an unusual survival and could presumably be interchanged with a steel blade as necessary.
