A Victorian novelty Inkwell and Match Box in the form of a pair of hooves with two bridle bits between, London 1874, E.H. Stockwell. Engraved underneath with a design registration lozenge.
Later engraved on the two hooves ‘Bramham Moor 1926‘ and ‘2nd Prize‘.

Condition:
Good but the lids showing signs of having been polished: perhaps to removal initials.
