A Victorian novelty silver Flask in the form of a Telescope.
A rare Victorian novelty silver Flask formed as a Telescope, London 1869, by Thomas Johnson: the cap detaching to become a cup, the eyepiece unscrewing to open the top and the body with shagreen covering. Engraved with a registered design lozenge. The ring struck with the maker’s mark of Wright and Davies.
Good. The marks on the lower body under the cup rubbed but elsewhere clear.
