A Victorian novelty parcel-gilt silver Scent Bottle and Viniagrette formed as a Milk Churn.
A Victorian novelty parcel-gilt silver Vinaigrette and Scent Bottle in the form of a milk churn, London 1871, by Jane Brownett. The top unscrews to allow access to the scent container and the base hinges to reveal the vinaigrette grille, which lifts out. The vinaigrette is fully marked on the body under the grille and part marked on the hinged lid and the top lid. The grille itself is unmarked but original.
Good with some loss of gilding to the bands.
