A shapely wood and silver Pipe Tamper.
A silver mounted wood Pipe Tamper in the form of a leg, circa 1800. The unmarked silver end is engraved with a royal crown above script initials.
A mirror image of the matrix on the tamper is shown in order to make the script lettering easier to read.
