A Set of four silver Menu Holders, London 1910, by R.H. Halford & Sons Ltd. [overstamping another maker’s mark], the centre portion formed as a Farman III biplane in commemoration of the ‘Daily Mail‘ newspaper competition flight from London to Manchester:  which was won by Louis Paulhan. Paulhan’s prize was £10,000.
