A set of ‘Cymric’ silver Spoons by Liberty and Company.

Liberty and Company.
A set of six delicate silver Coffee Spoons, Birmingham 1901, with the ‘Cymric’ mark, with heart-shaped bowls, long stems with a twisted section and chrysoprase cabochon terminals. This pattern can be attributed to the designs of Bernard Cuzner.

For recent research and new details of the work of Oliver Baker and Bernard Cuzner for Liberty and Company, see Anthony Bernbaum, [Peartree Collection], ‘More light on the Liberty Cymric metalwork venture.’ The article was first published in the Silver Society Journal.
