A silver Masonic Jewel, with engraved script initials, maker’s mark ‘AP’, circa 1790.
This rare mark has been recorded also on a Celtic point salt spoon and on a silver mounted cone-shell Snuffbox in the collection of the Aberdeenshire Museums Service [the Snuff Box is Stamped: ‘AP: BNF’, Museum ref. PEHMS:B7652]

Good with some solder staining where the central ‘G’ is attached to the compass and set square.
