A rare Queen Anne Toy silver Ewer.
A Queen Anne Toy silver Ewer, in the 17th century manner, London 1708, the maker’s mark is poorly struck but is probably the mark of George Manjoy.
Description
Condition:
Good overall but the piece has been quite crudely made: there is a large area of original solder at the junction between the body and the trumpet foot and the spout has uneven soldering and file marks. The maker’s mark is poorly struck and there is a small crack in the top rim of the ewer.
