A pair of Victorian silver Salad Servers, London 1863, by John Samuel Hunt of Hunt and Roskell. The fronts of the servers engraved with a family crest within a garter motto for the family of Cartwright.

This pattern is illustrated in Ian Pickford, ‘Silver Flatware’, p. 151, described as ‘Wellington variant, pattern of unknown name’. [My thanks to John Rogers for pointing out this reference].
