A pair of Victorian silver Peppers in the form of Infants, one smiling, the other crying, London 1886, by Thomas Johnson. The hinged bases are engraved with the retailer ‘Clark 20, Old Bond Street and 33, New Bond Street.’

Good with very minor surface marking to the bases.

The Smiling child measures: height – 7.6 cm. , width – 6.50 cm.; Depth – 7.00 cm.

The Crying child measures: height –  8.00 cm.;  width –  5.90 cm.; Depth – 5.60 cm.

The two peppers weigh: 298.10 gms.
