A pair of George IV silver Salt Cellars of substantial gauge, London 1823, the maker ‘WB’ possibly William Barrett II. The interiors gilt and the gadrooned rims interspersed with scrolling and the bodies and legs in a rococo revival style.
With two associated Queens’ rosette pattern salt spoons, London 1828, Jonathan Hayne.

Condition:

Good. The gilding on one salt is slightly lighter in colour than the other which would suggest that it has had more use.
