A pair of George III pierced Wine Coasters, London 1770, Thomas Nash. The sides of the coasters engraved with an armorial – ‘Kent’ quartering another, with a coat-of-arms in pretence.
Thomas Nash specialised in supplying pierced silverwork, in particular to the retailers Parker and Wakelin.

Condition:
Very good but with some shrinkage to the wood inserts.
