A pair of George III silver Salt Cellars, London 1764, the maker ‘IW’ is unascribed. This maker is noted in Grimwade in his ‘unregistered section’, and was presumably registered in the period of the lost largeworkers’ register.
Engraved with a contemporary crest and, beneath, with the initials ‘E.W.’
