A large Victorian silver Sugar Bowl by Lamberts of Coventry Street.

A large Victorian Sugar Bowl with gilt interior, London 1859, marked by William Moulson for Lambert & Rawlings. The fluted melon body is flat-chased with panels in imitation of the 1730’s. The handles are formed as cast asymmetrical scrolls. Underneath the bowl is engraved ‘Mary Ann Wilson from her Uncle John Simpson, Feby. 1860.‘ The body is engraved on one side with a family crest.
