A large and heavy silver Caster in the early 18th century manner, London 1875, by F.B. Thomas, with retailer’s stamp under the base for Thomas of 153 New Bond Street. The body of the caster is engraved with a family crest. The upper part of the caster pulls away from the base at the moulding above the foot.

Good. The baluster finial very slightly out of alignment from the vertical.
