A silver mounted glass Jar, with patent automatic opening mechanism whereby the hinged handle lifts the lid of the jar, Birmingham 1908. Struck under the lid with the pattern number 13441 and on the interior with Patent No. 5518. Together with a Jam Spoon Birmingham 1896.
The jar is illustrated with horse chestnuts in the absence of jam!
