A George III small silver Measure.
A George III silver Measure, with gilt interior, London 1813, by Thomas Phipps, Edward Robinson, and James Phipps.
The purpose of this measure, with pouring lip, is uncertain but a medical use seems the most likely. The base is identical in form to that used by these makers for eyebaths.
