A George III silver Society Badge.
A parcel-gilt unmarked silver Society medal, circa 1770, in its original case. This medal or badge seems closely related to the badge of the ‘Knights of the Golden Horseshoe’, formed in Virginia in 1716.
Good with minor surface marking to the plain reverse.
