A George III silver half-pint Mug.
A George III small bellied silver Mug, London 1763 by Thomas Whipham II and Charles Wright. The front of the mug engraved with a good contemporary coat-of-arms within a rococo cartouche for Leman [of Brompton Hall] Norfolk impaling another – probably Hurley. Unfortunately, as yet, this marriage has not been traced.
Good. The arms, which are original, are very crisp.
