A George III Irish silver two-handled Cup.
A George III Irish silver two-handled Cup, Dublin 1785, by Mathew West, struck also with the mark of Richard Tudor. The body is engraved with contemporary arms within an oval beaded cartouche with festoon, foliate scroll and laurel branches. The arms are for a branch of the McCormack or McCormick families. Engraved below the foot with a weight ’29-18′. [The weight now is 29oz 16.4dwt]
