A George II silver-gilt Tea Strainer Spoon.
A George II silver-gilt Strainer Spoon, of Teaspoon size, the front with chasing in the ‘Regence’ manner below a shell and the reverse with a shell chased below the heel. Sets of teaspoons sometimes included a pierced spoon of this type rather than the more usual mote spoon with spike terminal. London, circa 1750.
