A George I silver Pint Mug for a Welsh family.
A George I Britannia standard silver Pint Mug, London 1721, the maker’s mark unlear. The front of the mug engraved with a coat-of-arms for Vaughan. Below the arms engraved with the later [circa 1780] script initials ‘CW’. Engraved underneeath the mug with ‘M. Vaughan the Gift of T.V. 1730’, the scratch weight ‘12.15’, and a crude Vaughan crest.

Condition:
Good overall. The maker’s mark and leopard’s head slightly unclear. Slight impressions on the interior from the handle but no repairs of any kind.
