A 17th century English silver ‘Cartridge’ handled Knife.
A 17th century ‘Cartridge’ handled silver Knife with silver blade, circa 1675. It is very unusual for knives of this type to have a silver blade. The maker’s mark ‘IC’ within a heart, appears on a number of knife handles of this period and is probably a London maker. Good with minor surface marking and a small dent to the handle on one side.
